Programmatic access

A JSON API over these rulebooks is planned for the SaaS build. For now, the preview surfaces every rule, citation, capital minimum, and premium-tax parameter through the domicile pages above and the interactive compiler — no auth, no signup, cited to primary authority.

What's not in the preview

This preview covers pure captives only. The full CaptiveLedger platform covers additional entity types (sponsored, industrial insured, association, RRG, SPFC/SPLRC, ARC, agency, branch), rulebook versioning across amendments (Vermont's sponsored capital minimum has moved through three eras, for instance), and monitors that run against your policy register (premium-cap, both 831(b) diversification tests, loss-ratio surveillance).

Why the citations matter

A deadline without a citation is a rumor. A compliance calendar that shows Vermont premium tax · March 15 · 8 V.S.A. § 6014 · Form CPT-635 shows March 16 for 2026 (weekend roll) shows its work; a calendar that shows March 16 alone has thrown away the reason.
